Für die Teilnehmer sind ein Tag in der Grenzregion Deutschland–Dänemark und ein Workshops mit schleswig-holsteinischen Landtagsabgeordneten auf dem Traditionssegelschiff „Thor Heyerdahl“ geplant. Da das Projekt in der Zeit der Kieler Woche stattfindet, gibt es darüber hinaus natürlich auch die Möglichkeit, die Kieler Woche zu besuchen.

The Baltic Sea Youth Forum is co-organized by the State Parliament of Schleswig-Holstein, the Regional Youth Council of Schleswig-Holstein and the Europa Union Schleswig-Holstein and will take place in Kiel from June 23rd to 26th.

The overall goal of the Baltic Sea Youth Forum is to foster the exchange between youngsters within the Baltic Sea Region and to enable the dialogue with politicians. The main topic of the youth forum will be “Learn from and with each other in Europe”.

The forum includes a day in the region of the German and Danish border and workshops with regional politicians. One of the workshops will be held on the traditional sailing ship “Thor Heyerdahl“. Since the project is set in the time of Kiel Week, it's possible to go there in the evenings as well.
